This is sold out online but a few stores have a limited quantity left. I bought mine today at a store with 25% off additional sale items! :)
ReplyDeleteI saw plenty of Liz's sweater today in my local Anthropologie. Anthro commonly turns off in-store fulfillment when it has a percent off sales, so I expect that the sweater will be back in stock online when the extra 25% off is over. In anyone wants to order the sweater online while the extra 25% off sale is still going, try calling Anthropologie's customer service and see if they can locate the sweater for you.
ReplyDeleteWhy on earth do they turn off in-store fulfillment during percent off sales!? It is such a hassle calling stores. Great to know that info, thanks for the tip!
ReplyDeleteJust my guess from personal experience, but I think it's very hard for Anthropologie to manage in-store inventory during their busy extra percent off sales (regular weekly sales don't seem to be an issue). During the big sales, it's easier to manage inventory in the warehouses. For example, say an online customer orders an item that's available in store X and at the same time an in-store customer puchases the same item from store X. If that was the last item in that size available, then the online customer would have their order cancelled. Then the online customer is disappointed with a cancellation notice (sometimes several days later. I had this experience myself during a Black Friday sales several years back when pretty much everything I ordered was cancelled). The solution to turn off in-store fulfillment during big sales is not perfect, but it limits disappointing online customers with cancelled orders. Unfortunately, it also sometimes limits online customers from getting the best deals.
DeleteThanks, that makes sense. I've had online orders canceled on me that were supposed to be fulfilled through the stores at Nordstrom probably four times this past year.
DeleteThis sweater arrived today. Thankfully I read the reviews and ordered two sizes to compare. This sweater runs very small. Had to go with the next size. Super cute, so glad I hunted down.
DeleteWonderful, enjoy your new sweater!
